Beware The Craigslist Repairman

// July 18th, 2009 // Funny Job Listings

Craigslist can be a great place to get a good deal on computer repair services, but it’s always a good idea to ask questions, and get to know the repairman (and his skill set) that you plan to use.

From the listing:

I have a motherboard with bad power port on it. Usually I would do it, but because of it being a customers computer im not willing to take the risk messing it up. The computer will be disassembled prior to bringing it, and all I need is the new port soldered to the motherboard. I already have the new port, and the correct solder (.22) to use. I even have a gun if you need it. Send your offers and I’ll skim through them for whichevers best. Please have experience, or know what your doing. Thanks

Anthony

So basically he’s looking for a BETTER repairman to fix the motherboard for his customer…. now that’s classy.

Thanks to Jennifer for the tip!
